A Russian plane carrying 100 individuals crash-landed on its stomach from the north of this nation after experiencing difficulties with landing gear on Sunday, the organization and officials explained, adding no one was severely hurt.
The Utair Boeing was buffeted with a sudden shift in wind direction as it was landing in Usinsk airport at the northern Komi area, the airline said, and it had been on the tarmac when it suffered a malfunction.
Not one of those 94 passengers or six team members were severely hurt, the airline said, adding however that one passenger sought medical help.
“Due to the team’s quick and highly-professional action it managed to maintain the airplane on the landing strip till it came to a complete halt,” Utair explained.
